God never ceases to give us what we always deserve. He has a lot of great reasons to make us smile and so it is our choice whether we will be glad or turn the other way around. And so, knowing Him more and all of His good works shouldn't really be a hard thing for us people to do in exchange or should I say to show how much grateful and faithful we all are to have Him as our Father Almighty.
The Bible is the wisest and the most approachable source of God's words. It is written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Most teenagers, like me, don't find the Holy Bible the most amusing of all books. And if I have to tell the truth, during my spare time, I would most likely be found reading a book, but it seems like the book containing God's words would be my last choice.
I find it disturbing and very disappointing. I feel guilty of not doing something that I'm supposed to be doing. That is why I'm really trying my best to make time for reflection. Maybe a little more encouragement can trigger my lazy thoughts, to do something more productive. I have to start deep within, because the Bible contains salvific truth and facts about life--- the life that flows inside out.
It was only a few days ago when I found out about the story of Adam and Eve being a myth, not exactly real but carries greater truth.
The Bible has stories that are waiting to be read and interpreted by minds like mine. I guess this is a good start. God really knows how to bring it out from this shallow head. Sooner I'll be learning more about Him and I know I'm ready. I may have my imperfections but these are the things that make me unique and yes.. perfect.
